With pizza, beer, music, fashion, and charity, the 2nd Annual Pizza PanDemonium event is an intriguing blend with something for everyone. It takes place at Highland Brewing's new event center on Sunday, May 15 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm, and attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the spring weather while kicking back with locally brewed beer and a variety of entertainment that is unique to say the least.   The Pizza PanDemonium event, produced by Rock Eblen, presents a gourmet pizza cook off by Asheville pizza companies that have been selected by voting via social media. Attendees will not only have the opportunity to taste-test these delectable pizzas at the event, but also vote on the winners. The $30 VIP ticket price includes pizza in addition to three craft beers by Highland Brewing.  There will also be general admission tickets ($17 in advance and $20 at the door). Both include an abundance of entertainment--and it's the entertainment at this event that is truly remarkable. The event will kick off with live music by Kendra Warren, Andalyn Lewis (with a rising country music star surprise guest), and the Hank West band, and will also showcase the Wonderland Fashion Fantasy show. This Alice in Wonderland inspired fashion show boasts over 30 models who will be walking the stage in fashion designs and professional hair and makeup styling.  The designs will also be stunning and creative with a twist on the characters from Lewis Carroll's iconic novel.  If you're looking for a fashion show that is uniquely Asheville, this is certainly one that is not to miss that highlights the talent from Asheville's burgeoning fashion scene.  The fashion show is directed by Ginger Wilde, a local model and actress who also serves as a board member for the Appalachian Angels of WNC. The Appalachian Angels are a non-profit serving Western North Carolina who strive to help individuals and families in need.  Since the event is a collaboration between Ginger Wilde and Rock Eblen, the funds raised from the show will also benefit Eblen Charities, which provides medical, energy, and emergency assistance to thousands of families each year.   This is truly an event packed with entertainment that also supports great causes.
