Walt Dickinson, owner, head of brewing operations and Funkmaster at Wicked Weed Brewing in Asheville, North Carolina tells us in the video below about one of the Royal Cache series beers: Divergence. It's his bourbon barrel aged sour porter brewed with coffee.  Brewed with locally roasted coffee from Mountain Air Roasting, this dark porter uses a Konga Dry Process coffee and has Brettanomyces yeast added during primary fermentation.    After brewing, the beer was laid to rest in bourbon barrels and aged for 6-8 months. Starting December 6th, 500ml bottles will be available from the brewery at $13.95 each, but the release is limited so get there early if you want to be sure to brings some home!
