When A Ghost Comes Home
Asheville, NC is a city known for its thriving creative community. And later this month, the University of North Carolina Asheville campus gives back to one of the city’s most prominent writers. Wiley Cash is a North Carolina-based author and writer-in-residence at UNCA. He’s written three bestselling novels all set within North Carolina at various points in the state’s history. Cash is also an UNCA alum and mentor to other aspiring writers on campus. His newest novel, “When Ghosts Come Home”, is a literary mystery about a plane crash and the investigation that ensues when the local sheriff discovers a dead man on the runway. Along with a book signing, the event will also include music by Graham Sharp of the Grammy Award-winning Steep Canyon Rangers.  The launch event will take place Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the Sherrill Center, Kimmel Arena on the UNCA campus at 7:00pm. Masks will be required for all students, faculty, and visitors. Capacity is limited to 300 attendees to allow for social distancing.
