Asheville Vaudeville, the largest, wackiest, and most wonderful vaudeville show in WNC, hosts its final event of the year this Saturday, December 19th, at Toy Boat Community Art Space. The show will be performed twice, at 7:30 and 10:30 pm, and you're going to want to be there. It promises to be a night of eclectic, experimental performances, and if you miss it, you'll basically ruin Christmas. Rigel 7. Photo: Indulge Images The show, hosted by Valerie Meiss of Tiny Wonder, who will be the evening's Mistress of Ceremonies, features acts from puppeteer (and Fringe Festival master) Jim Julien, clowning from Rigel 7, dancing from Claire Dima, aerial miracles from The Flying Gillyfish, the hooping of April Shapril and Friends, comedy from Corr de Joch, and "two talented burlesque performers who will light up your Yule log" (Catalina Mystique and Queen April). The 7:30 show is $15, 10:00 is $12. Tickets are available at the door. Get there early and claim your spot! Things tend toward the edgy, so the show is recommended for 18+.
